Jake Tester

Jake Tester is a native to Hot Springs Arkansas. He moved up to Jonesboro to attend Arkansas State University, where he graduated with a Creative Media Production Degree, with an emphasis in Sports Media in 2024. During his days at college, he did multiple projects through Arkansas State’s Media Department. Whether it was his award-winning sports podcast, or his work with ESPN+, Jake left his mark on the campus.

But it wasn’t until the summer before his final year before he made his first major step. Jake interned here with us as a sports reporter. After he graduated, he shortly joined our staff full time, as a news reporter.

During Jake’s free time, you can probably find him sitting on his couch watching sports. Sports are what got him into the media world, and still remains one of his favorite things to do. If he is not on his couch, look for the closest golf course, and that’s where he will be.
